Description: Lists students who were reported as Homeless.

Report Type: Snapshot/Certification (EOY 3) ODS Academic Year

Security Role(s) Required: EOY Reports

Report Period: Snapshot version EOY 3 Report Period (July 1 thru June 30 of the reporting year)

Basic Selection Criteria

  • Any open or closed enrollment within the LEA at any time during the Report Period
  • Student Information record that falls wholly or in part within a qualified enrollment.
  • Enrollment Status Code = 10, 20 or 30
  • Grade Level = PS, TK, KN-12
  • Program = 191 - Dwelling type 100, 110, 120, 130

A student should ONLY be counted once within an LEA at the school with the most recent Education Program record reflecting a status of homeless, regardless of enrollment status or Specialized Services during the reporting period.

If a student is enrolled at two schools with same School Start Date, count the student in the Primarily enrolled school.

• Field 2.24 = N, 2.31 = N, 2.26 = 201–208, 299, 400 → Asian
• Field 2.24 = N, 2.31 = N, 2.26 = 600 → Black/African American
• Field 2.24 = N, 2.31 = N, 2.26 = 301, 303, 304, 399 → Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander
• Field 2.24 = N, 2.31 = N, 2.26 = 700 → White

2019–2020 through 2022–2023 (Source: SPED): Education Plan Type (Field 14.24) = 100 (IEP/IFP), 150 (IFSP), or 200 (ISP), AND Plan Set Start Date ≤ Reporting Period End Date, AND either the Plan Set has no End Date or the Plan Set Exit Date ≥ Reporting Period Start Date.
Note: Beginning 2020–2021, Triennial Records with Meeting Type = 40 are no longer used to determine active SPED students.
